"Something different"

Guys this one is something different, I just want to share it w/ you and maybe we can have a little fan. I was sitting in my room yesterday and it just came into my mind to make a picasso style of painting and so this was the result. Done in 3hrs by Oil pastel and pencil point. OK....... now try to interpret the drawing. Have fun

This is very interesting. I like how you used the oil pastels, the style is wonderful.

The image itself, well, can't determine exactly what it is but it portrays some sort of violent engagement. At first I thought it might be someone trying to kill a chicken.

Thank you

LOL...that's funny!

I would love to see you do a portrait with this same style using the oil pastels!! It reminds me of Van Gogh.

Thank you

Hey itoy, you have done a nice drawing here !... I see it more symbolic of a struggle between ...frustration v anger.

I'm curious to hear your interpretation

He who works with his hands is a laborer. He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman. He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is an artist.

a struggle between a masked chicken and it's human half. the human half is starving and wants a chunk of chicken feet or legs. by any chance were you hungry when you drew it? for some reason i'm suddenly craving chicken, imagine that. it's very interesting though, i like it

Congratulation, all of you have guess it, because they said that when you look at a painting (especially) abstract you define it what ever you want. Anyway those who said about the chicken, well, my wife told me about that too.....when I showed her during my work in progress. You guys are right when you say struggle, fight.....about the ninja a...... lets just say so.

I call this painting "Man's id"

id is defined as : the one of the three divisions of the psyche in psychoanalytic theory that is completely unconscious and is the source of psychic energy derived from instinctual needs and drives -- compare EGO, SUPEREGO

Take note of the words Unconscious and Instinctual. I can also translate it into the Wicked, Dark and Animalistic side of man. The person in the yellow head is being tormented and he is in constant struggle of his "id" as shown with the person in the dark faced color. Take note also that the two heads emergies from the same neck which shows that they are one. I made this painting after I experienced an incident in my life a couple of weeks ago that made me realized that no matter how educated, good, and religious a person when he is pushed to the limit his <id> would take over him in that very moment just to defend and preserve himself.

Thank you all and God bless.

itoy

Sorry to hear of your bad experience Itoy. I don't know what it was that happened to you but one thing I do know is, there are a lot of biast, jealous, evil, people out there Hope nothing too nasty happened.

Drawing when bad experiences happen to us most defonately helps. I used to do it all the time in my teenage years, and you can't get worse than those I particularly remember drawing for weeks on end, at every opportunity I got, when a close cousin of mine committed suicide. I guess it releases a lot of confused pent up emotion and somehow helps you make sense of it all.

Anyway I'm glad you cleared up the mystery for us.........although, I must admit, I thought it was Colonel Sanders and a particularly stroppy main course
