"This doesn't approach the realism of most works here..."
 
   This is a scene of some "local landmarks" I may still do a few touch-ups on. It is approx. 9 X 13, and some of the "fade away" did not fit in my scanner. Unfortunately, the quality of the scan is quite low and takes a lot away from it. It is all charcoal. At "wall veiwing" distance, some of the items shown in extreme close up below look much better. For instance, the mesh fence above the building came out very well. Similarly, there is a fence running along the roller coaster track and lights along the "handrail" of the coaster track. I'm interested on what people might think of this kind of work, or any comments/critiques. I am trying to decide if I should get "more realistic" or if this style is well viewed...

I think we draw what we enjoy...if you like it that is all that is important.I myself enjoy it .
