Well I decided to put aside my daughters dance teacher for a moment. I have to go ahead and started the new one....I realized I am on a time line for the one I have here...it will be a total of 18 portraits by the time I am done. fortunately the majority are only 5x6 and 3 10x12
still working on the eyes <don't I always? lol>
I remeber reading somewhere there is a trick to scanning large pieces.....can anyone tell me how?
The drawing is good. I like the 'sketchiness' to it. The line work is done nicely.
Have you tried introducing charcoal to your pictures? Charcoal in the shadows and lightly blended into fabrics and hair provides incredible contrast that really brings out the art work from the paper.
Thank you. I thought about doing charcoal but I am fearsome I know so little about it I would ruin my pictures rather than enhance...butI suppose at some point that would be the learning process..huh? Maybe I wil try tinkering with them just not with this series.
