"Dad (WIP)"
I'm going to put my other drawing aside for right now and go back to it later.... I'm getting to the "hate" stage and I really want to finish it!.
I've decided to start one of my Dad....he passed away 12 years ago and I'm really missing him....I'm sure this drawing will be a very emotional one.

Hey absolute...I just updated again....and you're right ...this is a tough one. It kinda feels like my heart is in my hands (if you can understand that) .....I'm really enjoying it ...
Btw...I'm using strathmore bristol paper (vellum two-ply) and I love it!! I think it's my favorite now

The picture is great so far. But I think the only thing I see wrong is the nose may be a bit off(it may just be me). The ridge of it towards the bottom should be a bit more curved into the nose just a tad but other that that its perfect.

Thanks avantar...... I'll look at that....I'm feeling kinda bummed out with this drawing right now. I started to work on the hair about an hour ago and it looks really bad I mean REALLY BAD.......I'd post it, but it's just laughable.

Well drawing hair is the most tedious and boring part of doing portraits. Just when I get the face done Im like oh no its onto the hair. But if you take your time on hair it will usually come out right.
