"Now something completely different…"
 
After many portraits I decide to try something else and this is the result. It presents Chevrolet Corvette SS 1957, only this one was ever made and it was intended for racing purposes.
Once again also this picture is done on 8´ x 11´ cheap drawingpaper (because it´s only a practice piece), Derwent graphite pencils (H, F, HB, 3B - 9B) and black colour pencil blended with chamois and blue tack. I done it in small bits during couple of months, but complete drawing time is something around 15 hours.
As allways, any comments and critiques are welcome.

Very nice! Maybe you still would like to add some really shiny highlites on the body and wheels to make it really pop? I was thinking that maybe on a high quality paper those dark tones would appear more even, these cheap papers tend to make fibres pop out when pushed hard

   Wow! This is an outstanding drawing! If this is only a practice piece, I sure would like to see some of your really polished stuff. This is still my favorite type of pencil drawing. After I finish one more portrait, I'm thinking about doing a motorcycle (or another airplane). Your Corvette is a real inspiration. Please show us some more.

MHK, you are right, those dark tones are annoyingly uneven and I must practice more and try some other methods to get even dark, but infact this paper seems to stand more blending than my "better" paper, which on other hand looks better - especially in scans.
Thanks Bill, Toby, I´m drawing as fast as I can and have three portraits under work, so hopefully there´s soon something new to show.
And as usual I didn´t search the net before drawing this from magazine pic and same pictures would have been in here in better quality :
