Thank you Bella!! A fellow artist has suggested that I enclose the tail in the background, so I'm going to do that. I'll post the finished drawing again.
As usual lots of people have an opinion, I though the backgroud made it look like he was lying on a mat, because the tail wasn't on it.
Of course that may not have been what you were going for:*
I like GIGI.

Thanks for your comment, Steve. I never thought of that. I guess the effect that I was after didn't pan out. Look at my new post, Gigi's done again. I filled in the background to include the tail.
