"my version of varga"
hello everyone,..here is my newest drawing, i have to admit with all of the new stuff ive seen posted lately im getting more and more afraid to post anything....LOTS of really exellent stuff lately. i drew this from a photo rather then one of alberto vargas paintings,i thought she had kind of a ww-II pin up girl look...like the kind they painted on the sides of bombers and fighters during that time.i planned on putting a fighter plane,or a bomber in the background, but im not very good at setting up a compostition?..im not even sure if i can spell one . so if you are wondering what the strange looking shapes in the background are....they are just strange looking shapes...i used them to cover up where i started adding some small planes.

HA thats mini mouse!,not micky. i thought the same thing when i made them...i used a coffee cup and a bowl to make the circles....i think i might just do that with a solid black . i really got sloppy on this one.

i like the mickey mouse. i think this is a beautiful drawing. the innocence of mickey mouse makes good counterpoint to the appetizing love for sale of the dreamy 50's babe.
