"Glove"

Glove study.....(I couldn't fit it all in)......one of my boy's loved it so much....I decided to personalize it and give it to him.
His name is slightly off.......but he is very proud of it...and that's what matters

That is truly amazing, Bella. It looks almost photographic! I just can't stop looking at it. It looks like you've got the scanning down too. I sure am glad you finally got that scanner.

Hey. Your a posting machine now! Scanner starting to smoke?!
Great job on the glove, very nice job with the leather and lettering. the dark out line seems a little heavy. Without the original it's hard for me to tell.

Manny Ramirez glove! I spent many nights down at Fenway park last year watching Manny hit one out!!

Quote ... the dark out line seems a little heavy. Without the original it's hard for me to tell.

Marc, I don't think the dark lines are outlines, rather they are the edge of the leather.

Bella, very nice job. Is this the one the was inspired by the glove in JD's book?

Bob

Marc, The dark lines are the same as they are on the glove...they aren't outlines they're supposed to be the leather edges like Bob said.... and I know it seems like I'm posting alot... it's an accumulation of drawings I've done since finding this site.... hehe...the scanner can rest now
"I" have "POSTED"!

Bob.... this study was inspired by the glove in JD's book and I learned alot doing it to....it seemed to take forever though...I spent alot of time on this ....hours turned into days and then weeks!! I didn't time myself but it was a record for me.....

I appreciate everyones comments

Marc, it's nice to hear someone talk about Boston. I live in Fall River, but I went to B.U. & my dorm was around the block from Fenway Park. I bought a Red Sox mini baseball bat, & keep it beside my bed for protection. I should try to draw that bat! Do you live in Boston?
