"Eagle"

I still haven't got my scanner yet:
But, I had a roll of film developed on a cd.....it's the only way I can show anything right now.....the bottom eagle is what I drew about 6 months before I got JD's book and the top one is what I did just after I got JD's book. The picture isn't really good...but for now it's just nice to be able to post something:D

Great job, Bella! Big improvement in the eagle, and the lady on the bottom, from what I can tell, looks really good, too.

THAT 's Really sharp bella!...what i like most is the way you used all of the values from the light in the feathers to the black around his eye.......he looks like he is sizing up a rabbit even as we speak.,....did you use charcoal on this one?

Hey Absolute thanks for the comment

I used some vine charcoal...but mostly graphite...... I want to draw another eagle soon just to see how I go.....and use a graph!...you turned me into a graph-a-holic.......

Hi Bella,

I've been dying to see your drawings, and I must say you have not let me down, they are really good

The improvement from the first eagle to the second is outstanding!

Peace
Phil

Yep, it is looking good Bella. I love eagles and you have done a great job on this one.

I am about to start doing the exercies in JD's book. Been collecting pencils and testing them in the past couple of weeks.

I am just going to take my time and try to learn all I can.

Bob

Greetings from Delaware
