"Goggleman (WIP)"

Heres the project Iam currently working on. I was commissioned to do it though the reference is 1"x1" and very blurry. Only shadows were visible, all the details had to be imagined up.

I was so pissed off doing this obligatory commission that I used extra speed in the beginning, I wasnt worried if I was screwing it up. To be honest, it was actually a good idea.. the paper sucked graphite in better as I didnt blend it so much and I didnt have to take glances over reference all the time.

This has been single session drawing up till now, 4,5 hours have been spent in it (I know because 4,5hours ago there was nothing but a white paper in the front of me). Nothings ready yet, lots of small details and tones will be added.

This one is really going to be cool.....i was wondering if you ever send your work to fan sites.?..many of them have a page for fan art,and they sometimes add your URL next to your work.

Fan site? I doubt theres such a thing for people I have drawn so far.... But maybe its a good idea to draw celebrities rather than cousins and uncles though

okay, I put here latest version of this weird looking fellow. Its been a long drawing session today, this has taken 8hours so far continuously. I think that tonality is coming along well. Feel free to comment.

This will be ready tomorrow. Now its time to go sleep

MHK, You continually amaze me. This is going to turn out wonderful. I like the skin texture. As soon as I get my Blu-Tack from Mike I'll have to try it for aging skin. Judging by the speed at which you do your drawings, it would probably be faster to use this method. I'm looking forward to the final.

Wow, great work! The skin texture is great, and you do work fast. Also, it's impressive that you're working from such a small photo and making up detail!
