"The President Of The United States (WIP)"

Drawing time so far 13h. This drawing seems to take time more than earlier ones, heres plenty of details and shadows. The face is almost finished (some things still have to be fixed).

I put a bit extra contrast here in the jpeg, so small details would be better shown on the screen (if somebody wants to check them out...)

The final version will be available tomorrow I hope.

Now I go to sleep... its almost a dawn here now...

Abso, theres no secret about scanning. I just added hundreds of details here more than to earlier ones. Its nice that my scanner is able to pick them up.

That's a remarkable drawing...... and, while I try to get my head around a complex drawing almost completed in 13 hours , may I ask what size it is please? It's difficult for me to understand the techniques used without knowing the scale.

13 Hours!!!! Are you sure your watch is'nt running slow ?

I'm not too sure if it is just me or not, but if you look him from just the bottom of his nose upward, he does'nt half look like Prince Charles! (a bit more hair admittedly)

Great work, chief... what are you using? Charcoal? Ebony? Graphite? Paper?

I'm beginning to envy you guys that blend... but I like my method, though... maybe one of these days I'll get out the 'ol toilet paper and nose oil and see if I still have it Yes, I said *nose oil*.... just ask me...

Keep up the good work.

Regards,
Robert
