"The President of Finland (WIP)"

Heres the first female president in the history of Finland, Mrs. Halonen. I thought youd like to see the wip, because this time Ive promised myself I put everything I can in it, not that I hadnt before, but this time I will finish it with special care. I have also paid extra attention in blending the tones and achieving the natural "liveliness" to the hair.

I will make the skin more full of detail, as well as putting them on the hair. The eyes are not finished yet.

Labor hours so far 7hours, about 20 hours ahead. Size 8x11. If somethings badly wrong here, please tell me.

thanks abso. As ive said before, the paper I use is about cheapest drawingpaper on the market (Bristol board? never heard..) and blending tissue is about cheapest tissue around. I was wondering if the paper generally here is higher quality than overseas, because blending really isnt an issue here? The paper I use is about 10cents a piece, blending tissue 1cent per tissue (if I calculated right..).

Hi MHK

I would love to be able to do something like this in 20 hours let alone 7. It takes me 7 hours just to get started

So what is wrong here is that you are doing it too nice and too quick... beautiful even at this stage.

Bob

Greetings from Delaware

Dude.. When is your book coming out? You have really kicked ass on this one! The blending is so well done. The hair is so detailed. I could go on and on. You say your using bristol board.. That seems to be the paper of choice here in the states.. What would you consider good quality paper and blending materials? Great job man.. keep it up!!

P.S. I would love to see a WIP with more attention focused on your hair drawing next time if possible.. Thanx!! TheDuke
