"Charcoal"

WOW! I don't know if anyone here gets Artist's Magazine but this month they have a write up on a charcoal pencil artist who is about the best I have ever seen. She does wild life, close up head studies and they are just amazing. You can go to the magazine here www.artistsmagazine.com
For anyone who likes getting as much info on the art world as possible this magazine rocks. They also have a legal section with a Q&A. You'll be amazed at this charcoal artist's work. Go check her out, PS She is self taught (a bonus for us who have had no formal education with art)

Hello Bella,
Her name is Rexanna Chadwick of Florida. She has worked with Charcoal for the past 20 years. I'll see if I can find some of her work, if not I will e-mail her and ask if I may post something to the site. She even has a step by step article with pictures of how she works a piece. BTW her supplies are:
kneaded eraser, small stumps, white charcoal pencil, 2b charcoal, #6 brush, #8 brush, #10 brush, 6b charcoal (used to make black backgrounds.
