Mr. Hillberry once again i'm amazed! Can't wait to see the Clothing!

Question for you.

I know that you are a full time professional artist. Do you have an agent that helps get this type of work or is it your reputation that you've built over the years of doing a million shows?

The reason for asking is I'm starting to get some intrest from small galleries and public wanting prints and so on. I just sold my first commission for $500 and was pumped! And that has led to another commission. I'm just completing my webpage and business cards I hope to go to print with two additional pieces Limited and open edition by January. So the ball is rolling. Am I on the right track?
Any sugestion would be greatly appreciated. Please stop by my post if you have but a minute (I know you real busy!) and give me REAL HONEST critique.

I'm a huge fan!
Great stuff

Wow! Tremendous work, as usual, Mr. Hillberry!
Just wondering...are you done with the hair? It just looks a bit like it's too soft and smudged compared to the rest of the drawing, but maybe I'm wrong. I love your work and your book looks great, too, even though I haven't gotten into it much yet or been drawing much, lately.

What a wonderful portrait! I have a question for you, do you draw from life or from a photo? If it's a photo, do you take the photos yourself or do you take whatever photos the client have available?

I work from photos. No one would want to sit for me that long. I like to take my own reference photos but more often than not I end up working from what ever photo the client suplies. I would have prefered the light more to the side on this reference photo.

I normally try to get more than one photo of the person just to make sure it will look like them. I would have prefered the light more to the side on this reference photo.

i just about fell out of my seat when i seen this one.
if i hadnt seen it with my own 2 eyes,i never would have thought that looking at a golf star could be so interesting.

Extremely Sensational!!
The skin is so real, you want touch it, definitely has that leathery, skin-weathered look, I'm hopefully getting your book for Christmas, so I'll be able to find even more tips than this forum has given me.
I really admire your work, thanks for sharing and inspiring us all
