Well there isn't much left to say after all the great replies, but I must make a comment on the hair, quite excellent! For me I think it is my trouble spot, you have got it down perfectly!! I admire your patience, maybe the young can't do that yet , but I certainly envy your ability, 25 hours so far, how long do you usually put into a drawing, on average. My last was 18 hours but not nearly as much detail, or greatness, as this one will be.
Hey Jess! Thanks for the comments. Her hair took 13-15 hours, it took longer then usual because of the "up-do!" I really wanted to match her style so I took my time, most of my stuff is around 45 hours. I'll be honest with you Jess, your work at your age is 10 times better then what I was doing back then. I think you have a real good idea of what it takes to produce realistic textures and how much patience is involved to achieve it, so it really boils down to time spent. You will get there even at your tender age. I'm the one with envy! Peace Kid!!
