"weimaraner"
I found this pic in a book for dog groomers. My daughter grooms dogs for a living.I put down the boxers for awhile and quit stressing about one paticular area and did my best.Feed back welcome and greatly appreciated.I'm affraid it lost a bit in scan. vickie
I REALLY like this one vicky. i feel like i could reach out and pull up the loose skin of his mouth to show his mean looking snarl,..i always do that to big dogs ......ones that know me of couse ...surpisingly enough ive never been bit.!

I love this one Vickie!!!
I know the Weimaraner well (and enjoy drawing it myself - it seems to suit graphite perfectly). You have the amber eye looking just right and the dark shadow under the ear works really well in throwing it forward and describing the form of the face beneath - this is a device I used a lot in my own head-studies.
There's nothing I would change - it's an excellent drawing!
This is a beautiful drawing... I think what I like most about it is the expression you captured - that peaceful and wise look coming from deep inside his eyes. You must be proud of this one!

Vickie - this is beautiful - I love the shape of his head and how soft he looks.
