Hi Zoki,

Boy, sorry to have been away so long from the oil painting section. It seems that my graphite portrait work has really started to take off and I've been very busy trying to finish commissions and doing sample work. So, I've GOT to get back to finishing my FOUR oils I've started......sheeeesh!

Whew.......anyways, like before Zoki......your work has so much mood evoking gravity to it. I just think this piece is so very warm and mysterious at the same time. Like she's lost in a section of her life right now and I want to ask her what her deep thoughts are all about. Very cool painting technique.

Can't wait to see the finishing touch!

Wonderful composition and coloring. They combine to create a perfectly harmonized whole.

Some quick comments:
1. neck seems bent at too steep an angle, ie it seems to be almost 90 degrees. Appears to be very uncomfortable creating a tension for may (maybe that was your intention???)
2. Related to this is the angle of the pillow. The left side, ie back of the pillow stands at almost a 90 degree angle and is a bit to flat to be a pillow.
3. The impression of the color blue is too strong.
