It's all a bit too genteel and "chocolate box" for my liking.
Possibly befitting the covers of airport paperbacks.
The sitting apathetic girl's rather dull, the inflated broach doesn't add anything as far as I can see (it's not even noteworthy/interesting to look at.)
The upper painting's left-hand side's nice (the fluffy trees,) as is the bird in the smoldering region in the bottom-right corner.
The woman in the sky's legs are terribly flat; her feet and hands look (unintentionally?) eroded and the cloth she's reclining on is bland; without merit.
The face of dog on its hind legs, doesn't seem right to me. His left leg's been wasted by obscuring it and I don't believe he's a strong enough character to warrant the middle of the picture (esp with such a bright coat.)
I don't know whether it's just my screen, but I can barely make out the egg-filled nest(?) in the corner.I'm afraid that dog being petted by the infant, looks stuffed and lifeless.
Both of the painting's elements look stuck on (like Fuzzy felts) without cohesion.
The compositions need more planning (looks as though next to no thought's gone into them.)
I think the expression "You only get out, what you put in" applies here.
Ultimately I'm left with an unsatisfying, wishy-washy assortment of old world antiquity; that I imagine is intended for people to mull over as is sometimes done with dreams.
I imagine these girls are meant to look pensive not vacant?
Btw Could you tighten the focus on these pics? Some parts are hard to make out.
"Be eager to lend a patient ear to the opinions of others and think long and hard whether whoever finds fault has reason or not to censure you. And if the answer is yes, correct the fault. If no, give the impression that you have not heard him, or if he is a man whom you respect, explain to him why he is mistaken."
