Hello there people,
I was just wondering what you photographers feel about the new digital format. I'm a purist myself and feel that the computer has all the fun when it comes to manipulating color, contrast, and virtually everything else. I fully realize it has it's place in our world now but maybe I'm just becoming too stubborn for my own good.

hey dreamer - yea! digital has its place believe me. But, I too am a traditionalist when it comes to my personal photography - I shoot digital all day as a news photographer and many times transmit the pix back to the newspaper from the front seat of my car on a laptop with a high speed internet connection on my cell phone! talk about convience! But, when it comes to my stuff - well, about the only thing I do that I feel is "cheating", is sometimes I'll shoot some Ilford XP2 or Kodak CN and let the lab process that - if ya haven't tried 'em, man they print smooth. later. bill
