"Dog"
It's been a few years since I last drew. I have no training, just used to do it a lot when I was younger. I've recently decided it's time to hone my skills, so here's a picture of my friend's dog - a 'doodle' i started while I was bored at work. I hope to do more animal portraits later. This was done on printer paper with a rubbish HB 'corporate'(!) pencil. Any feedback welcome

rebecca you are uncommonly talented, seriously. don't waste any more time. find a place near you where you can draw from a real model, or encourage friends to pose for you and pay them a little something.

also, dont bother posting here. no one ever looks at it. post your stuff on the kd hillberry techniques forum. you will get lots of oohs and ahs there. you did that drawing of your sister when you were 12? incredible.
dont stop drawing again silly! someday maybe you can quit your day job.

Hi Verdaccio,
thank you soo much for your kind comments and words of encouragement. I would love to quit the day job to do my drawing!!
Just to set the record straight about that drawing of my sister - I meant the source photo was taken 12 years ago. I drew the picture before Christmas last year, just after I started drawing again!
