"Matti Kataja portfolio"
I put here a collection of my artworks so far, the same drawings are also seen in my website on bigger and better resolution. I usually make at least one drawing every week, sometimes two or even three drawings a week. I am just a beginner (since september 2002) on realistic drawing, but hopefully someday I can make my living on it. Usually I put 10-16hours on every piece, size 8x11. I put here also some close-ups.
you have an uncommon way with hair. and the shading is very well done. I think some of the perspectives are a little off tho.

Hi Matti, I really love looking at your work. Your pencil technique is brilliant. I have tried to view your website, but for some reason I just get a blank page when I try to log on. Which is a real pity, as I would like to see much more of your work! Guess my firewall is acting up again....

Linda: I dont know whats the problem, the site seems to work fine to everyone else? It might be the preload thing, to skip it push the image in the index page (coffee cup at the moment). Some browsers hate preloads, such as Opera. I dont know about macs how they do react.
