"Bill Johnston's Portfolio"
This is pretty much my entire body of work. They are posted pretty much in the order I drew them. There was about a 10-year gap with no drawing at all between the Corsair and the F-15 (jet). I am now drawing as much as I can make time for, and plan to keep it up from now on. Since I have discovered this forum, I have learned how much I still have to learn and feel continually challenged to get better and better. All comments are welcome

After my 10-year "break" My wife pressured me into doing something for a silent auction fundraiser, so I did this F-15, which my Dad won. After another 1-year break, I drew the Cherokee, which I drew from photographs I took. I made up the background myself.

AWESOME planes and i really like the way you captured your boy rounding third and coming home.
all of the drawings are great. im sure youd agree that the planes are superior, superior in fact, to many planes i have seen, ever. you should take up painting and paint planes. you could make a niche for yourself amongst aviators and military buffs.
