Hi;
I am really embarassed about showing my work, on here since I have no formal training, and I feel there are countless weeknesses in my pieces, oh well that's what this forum is for i guess. This is my very first painting I did after Mr.Antonov's video, and I have only been painting for about two years prior. This painting is called "Easu" and relates to the book of Romans chapter 9. I'll have some new ones up soon

Dear Douglas:
Thank you very much for your support!
1. I would like to see the bigger details of the fragments circled by the squares of different colors in order to be able to discuss the texture.

2. I agree with the comment made by BluedemonX that the composition is too much centered. According to my opinion it shold be or central (non centered)

or more L-shaped.
3. The little presence of the cold colors in half tones would strengthen the warmth of light.

Alexei

Dear Mr.Antonov
Thank you very much for your response on my piece. I am so grateful for you helpful comments and insights. I like what you have done in photoshop with the cold colors in the background, i have a hard time understanding halftones, and It is a challange to know how much of the dead underlayer should be allowed to come through in the color layers. I would like to get you some close ups of the piece but i am sorry that I no longer have it in my possesion, If I can I will try to contact the client so I can get some detail shots of the requested areas. If not I will post some more of my work. Thank you once again for your time

God Bless
Doug

p.s Would I be able to show you paintings in progress?
